Ralph Nealon Fitts, 80 of Cottonwood, AZ passed away on January 7, 2012. He was the son of Fred L. and Irene E. (Shaw) Fitts and was born in Hanson, Massachusetts on January 7, 1932. Mr. Fitts grew up and attended school in Rockland, Massachusetts. He served in the United States Airforce as a jet mechanic. After the service he worked as a pipefitter and was a member of the Plumber and Pipefitter Union Local #51 in East Providence, Rhode Island. He married Dorothy A. Chapman on November 23, 1952 and together they raised five children. Mr. Fitts was an avid hunter, and collector of guns. He enjoyed panning for gold, watching "old war movies" and he especially enjoyed a good yard sale. He is survived by his devoted wife of 59 years Dorothy, five children: Ralph G, Chris, Judith, Scott (Sandy), Barbara all of New Hampshire, five grandchildren: Wanda, Tina and Scott Fitts, Isacc Fitts and Hannah Ingerson and one great grandchild: Raven, his brother: Fred (Diane) of Florida, a sister Gloria Potter of Massachusetts and several nieces and nephews. He was a member of the American Legion Post #25 and Immaculate Conception Church. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday April 21, 2012 in the Westcott Funeral Home at 11 AM.
