Ramona Marie Themig (Mosley), 59, of Auburn, passed away at 3:39 p.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at Memorial Medical Center. Ramona was born June 27, 1952 in Cypress, IL, the daughter of Marion and Verna Mae Kerr Mosley. She married Jerome Themig on October 16, 1993 in Reno, NV. Ramona received her bachelor's degree from Eastern Illinois and her master's degree in Special Education from Illinois State. She worked for Cypress Elementary School and retired from the Pawnee School District. She loved working with children; especially those with special needs. She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. She enjoyed being with her family, being outdoors, traveling, and loved her country home, "Snake Lake Estates." She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, John Michael Gray. She is survived by her husband, Jerome Themig of Auburn; son, Jonathan (Deanna) Gray of Longwood, FL; two grandchildren, Addison and Landon Gray; siblings, Phyllis (J.D.) Myers of Paducah, KY, Frances (Allen) Cobb of Marion, IL, Vera (Ed) Foster of Crossville, TN, Lendyl (Betty) Mosley of Cisco, IL, Bill (Mary) Mosley of Sebastian, FL, and Wilda (Robert) Young of Elizabethtown, IL; and lots of nieces, nephews and cousins. Cremation was accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies. Celebration Mass: The family will host a Celebration Mass at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at St. Joseph the Worker, 700 E. Spruce St., Chatham, IL with Rev. John Nolan, celebrant. A gathering and luncheon will follow to celebrate Ramona's life. Memorial contributions may be made to: Pawnee School Special Resource Classes, in memory of Ramona Themig, 810 N. 4th St., Pawnee, IL 62558.
