STADLER, Randy L. - of Clio, age 55, went home to his Lord, Monday, February 23, 2009 at his residence after a long courageous battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held 11am Friday, February 27, 2009 at Trinity Assembly of God, 4363 W. Mt. Morris Rd., Mt. Morris, Pastor Larry Alverson officiating. Cremation to follow. Friends may call at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio on Wednesday from 6-9pm, Thursday from 12-4 & 6-9pm and at the church on Friday from 10am until time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Randy Stadler Cancer Patient Care Fund for Dr. Peram's cancer patients c/o Trinity Assembly of God or to the church.
Randy was born March 16, 1953 in Flint, Michigan the son of Gerald and Kathleen Stadler. He had resided in the Clio area all of his life. Randy married Sandra Morgan on May 8, 1976 in Clio. He was owner/operator of Superior Collision. He was a member of Trinity Assembly of God. Randy was a member of the Clio Country Club, the Clio Chamber of Commerce and Business Networking Inc. He loved his outdoor sports including hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed traveling and going to the SKS Ranch in Hale. Randy cherished his special time in Florida with Sandy and their dear friends and in-laws, Sam and Paula.
Surviving are: wife, Sandra; children, Michelle (Jonathan) Lakin of Auburn Hills and Brian Stadler of Clio; parents, Gerald and Kathleen Stadler of Clio; brothers, Norton (Phyllis) Stadler of Clio and Kendall Stadler of Lake Orion; brothers and sisters-in-law, Alice (Dallas) Stephens of Birch Run, Sam (Jane) Morgan of Clio, Earline (Jim) Bloom of Clio, Mark Morgan of Chicago, Paula (Dr. Sam) Salem of Flushing, Martha (Jim) Pippert of Birch Run and Jeffrey (Debbie) Morgan of Flushing; aunts and uncles, especially Ray and Mabel Cloutier of Clio; many nieces and nephews; best friend, Greg Kovelcik of AZ. Randy was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Duane Morgan. The family wishes to extend special thanks to Dr. Peram and staff and the staff of Superior Collision who supported the family during the difficult times. The family also extends a special thanks to the staff and congregation of Trinity Assembly of God for their love and fellowship in pointing the way to Christ.
