In retirement, he travelled the USA and Canada in an Avion camper trailer, befriending many people. R I and Betty then settled in Lubbock at the Windsong Retirement Community.
R I and Betty established three President’s Endowed Scholarships and two Corps Scholarships as well as gifting college scholarships to each of their seven grandchildren.
