Raul "Bully" Chapa, 46, entered into eternal rest Thursday, May 27, 2009.
Raul was born on July 9, 1962 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He graduated from Sam Houston High School in 1982.
He is survived by his wife, Joann Chapa, 2 daughters, Sara Chapa and Cassandra Gonzales, parents, Ruben and Gloria Chapa, 3 siblings, Linda Chapa, Ruben , Jr. & wife, Sulema Chapa, Ramiro & wife, Alma Chapa, 5 grandchildren, 14 nieces and nephews.
Raul will be remembered as someone who was caring and loving and truly loved his family. He will be greatly missed, especially his laughter and joy of life.
The family wishes to express their appreciation to Odyssey Hospice Hospital for their most sincere love and support they gave Raul in his final days.
In celebration of his life the family will receive family and friends on Sunday, May 31, 2009 from 3:00 ~ 9:00 p.m. at the Crespo Funeral Home ~ Broadway Chapel, 4136 Broadway, Houston, Texas (713) 644.3831 with a Rosary Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. The funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial which will be held on Monday, June 1, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady St. John, 7500 Hirsch Rd., Rite of Committal will follow at Hollywood Cemetery.
