Raul was my nephew. I last saw him when he was a small child. I moved away from Ontario and kept in touch with his parents. He seemed like such an adventurer and also seemed to be living his life to the fullest. I envy anyone who goes after their dream, and he did it! I even got the change to speak to him over the phone a few months ago - he was coming to San Antonio to perform and wanted his relatives to come see him. I remember thinking how in awe I was to hear him speak of what he loved to do, and how happy he was in sharing this with me. To me, it seems as if he lived and did more in his 30 short years of being on this earth than most people do in a lifetime. My deepest heartfelt sympathy goes out to all of his family. Only prayer will get us through this....

Thank you for always welcoming everyone into your home and your shows and most of all thank you for reminding us why our time in Santa Fe was so memorable and special and how lucky we all are to have been a part of your great experience.
