Natick - Raymond E. Lockrow, 59, died Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Metrowest Medical Center in Framingham after battling a long illness.
He leaves his loving wife of 22 years, Carol (Butler) Lockrow of Natick.
Ray was born September 3, 1956 in Utica, New York the son of DeLores (Etienne) Lockrow and the late Robert Lockrow. He graduated from Northeastern University in 1979 with a B.S. in Pharmacy. He was a pharmacist at Metrowest Medical Center in Natick for over 36 years and was still working until his death.
A believing Christian, Ray was a generous supporter of several evangelical ministries. He had a passion for studying Biblical prophecy and its implications in world events. He enjoyed reading, music, and spending time with friends and loved ones. He was an avid sports fan, especially of the New York Giants and Yankees. Ray was a sensitive and gentle spirit beloved by his immediate and extended family. He will be remembered for his easy manner with a unique sense of humor.
In addition to his wife, Carol, he leaves his mother, DeLores Lockrow of South Glens Falls; his sister, Robin Hoffman and her husband Richard of Gansevoort, New York; his brother in law Richard K. Butler and his wife Kathie, of Northborough; his niece Stephanie Lee Butler and her son Noah; his nephew Nicholas Butler, and many more extended family members and friends.
His family will gather privately in Heald & Chiampa Funeral Directors - The Sumner House, 5 Church Road, Shrewsbury. Burial will follow in Dell Park Cemetery in Natick.
