Funeral services for Ray Wotipka, 47, of Snook, are set for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 7, 2011 at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell, with Rev. Joseph Polasek officiating. Interment will follow at Masonic Cemetery under the care and direction of Strickland Funeral Home of Caldwell. A visitation is scheduled for Saturday, August 6, 2011, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Mr. Wotipka passed away on August 4, 2011 at St. Joseph's Regional Health Center in Bryan. Ray was born October 8, 1963 to Alvin Wotipka and Lillie (Polasek) Wotipka in Caldwell, Texas. He married Susan (Sebesta) Wotipka on August 16, 1986 at Snook Brethren Church. Ray was a member of the SPJST. Survivors include his wife Susan Wotipka of Snook; his mother, Lillie Wotipka of Deanville; brother and sister-in-law; Edward and Anna Wotipka of Deanville; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Harvey and Deborah Dean of Rockdale; sister-in-law, Grace Kramer of Caldwell; two nieces; April Crow and Crystal Wotipka and two nephews; Dex and Dillon Dean.
