Mr. Raymond Ellis Hinely, age 86, of Stockbridge, GA passed away December 3, 2011. Mr. Hinely was born in Tavares, FL the son of the late Jessie Cooper and Minnie Edge Hinely. He was a member of Flippen United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Men. He served his country in the US Navy. He worked for Snapper Power Equipment, and was self employed in the retail Produce and Grocery business. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and gardening. Survivors are his wife, Elizabeth Foster Hinely of Stockbridge; daughters and sons-in-law, Beverly and Mark MacMahon of Punta Gorda, FL and Nancy and Seth Kimbrel of Griffin; grandchildren, Bryan and Kyle Austin; great grandchild, Hayden Austin; sisters, Mattie Green and Jackie Young of Jacksonville; brother, Herbert Hinely of Jacksonville. Funeral service for Mr. Hinely will be Wednesday, December 7, 2011 – 2:00 PM at Flippen United Methodist Church with Rev. Tim Emmett and Rev. Gene Sheffield officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 – 7:00 PM.
