HENSLEY - Raymond Ernest Hensley, age 62, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away suddenly on Friday, January 27, 2012 of a heart attack. He was a loving husband, father and friend and a man of great integrity. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Hensley; son, Brandon Hensley and wife, Nova; daughter, Kristeena Romero; father, George Hensley; four grandchildren; and brother, Ronald Hensley. Raymond was preceded in death by his mother, Irma Jean Hensley. Raymond was a staunch member of the National Society of Professional Engineers and a highly respected mechanical engineer in New Mexico. He was a man of many talents: writer, musician, business owner, teacher and mentor. Services will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at French-Wyoming Chapel. Burial will take place at Mountain Valley Cemetery in Edgewood, NM. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 2201 San Pedro NE, Building 2, Suite 102, Albuquerque, NM 87110.
