Regina Williams was born October 16th, 1962 in St. Louis, Missouri, to the proud and loving parents of James and Gerline Williams. She was the fourth of four siblings Regina lived up to her name "Queen" in that she was very protective towards her siblings and very caring towards people both spiritually and physically. Like her mother she had a great sense of humor and was great at retelling family stories and fictional stories. There are so many fond memories we have of her. Yes she was the baby of the family and like most babies was somewhat spoiled; but she had a giving spirit. One of the childhood memories her siblings can share was special doll named after her, QUEENIE! She carried this doll everywhere. Through the grace of our parents we grew up to know God through our Catholic upbringing and later to our individual religious choice. We know Regina knew the Lord. Prior to becoming physically disabled, Regina proudly served as a "Professional Caregiver: for numerous years to the both physically and mentally disabled. Throughout her illness she displayed loving appreciation for her brother Michael and other family members of love and service they provided for her. Though Regina never had biological children of her own she was that substitute mother, play mother, aunt, etc. to those in need. She was there for the birth of her niece, Aiyana, who she called "Little Missy". She often referred to her nephew, "Little D.J." As "M.J." (He is good at basketball and dancing). Regina is survived by her father, James William, brothers, Dennis and Michael, sister, Pertrina W. Thomas and half-sister Sonya Williams. She also leaves behind her grandmother, Flossie Petty, one aunt and uncle, a sister-in-law, two nephews, four nieces, numerous first and second cousins along with their children and dear old and close friends. Yes Regina will be greatly missed, but we know she is in a better place, resting in PEACE with the Lord, as her mother. GOD BLESS LITTLE SISTER!!!
