Reginald David Miller, 47 of 165 S. French Broad Ave. Apt. 2-C succumbed from a continued illness Monday, February 16, 2009 at Mission Hospitals St. Joseph Campus.

A life long resident of Asheville he attended Erwin High School and was better know in the community as DJ Reggie Miller". He was a son of Linda Smith Miller of Asheville and the late William "Bill" Miller.

Left to cherish his memory in addition to his mother are his children, Dykisha Featherstone and Reginald Featherstone both of Hendersonville, Dequnna Ware and Antonio Carson both of Asheville; grandchildren, Aniya Ware, Jayla Ware and Antonio Carson all of Asheville; brothers, Anthony Miller and Darryl Miller both of Asheville; sister, Pamela Miller Higgins of Asheville; special friend, Karen Smith; aunts, Justine Smith Baird, Judy Smith, Joan R. Eddings, Anita R. Sloan, Stella Carson and Louella McDaniels, all of Asheville; uncles, Richard J. Reynolds, Charles Miller and Neil Miller; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in Nazareth First Baptist Church. Dr. Charles R. Mosley will officiate.

The family will receive friends at the home of his mother, 811 Reed St. Apt. B. Arrangements are under the direction of Hart Funeral Service. An online memorial register is available at www.hartfuneralservice.com.
