As I grew up and had a baby of my own, she made her the most beautiful pink and white afghan that is treasured. I remember God's promises and know that we will all see each other again in heaven. Until we meet again, I will miss you. My heart goes out to Oscar, Millie, Jim, Joyce, Mary, Pat, Alta, and Bill. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry of the passing of your mother. She was always very kind to me when I was around your family when we were in high school together. It is wonderful she had a long life with so many loved ones to pass on her memory.

I'm so sorry and saddened to hear of Aunt Rena's passing. I want you to know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers. I have many fond memories of times spent with both Aunt Rena and Uncle Oscar while living across the street from them with my Mamaw and Papaw. And the baby quilts Aunt Rena lovingly made for my children when they were born, just beautiful. She was loved and will be missed and never forgotten. May The Lord help you all through this time of sadness and loss.

I was so sad to hear of Rena's passing. But overjoyed for her to be with our Lord God. Rena and Oscar have always been such wonderfully kind people and I alwayslooked forward to seeing them every Sunday at church.

I am so grateful to Rena and the other quilters for finishing my Mother's quilt her grandmother started 70 years ago. It meant so much to me and to my Mother and now we will always have a little of Rena's handy work in our home.

It was with a sad and heavy heart that I write this, we were so sorry to hear of Rena's passing, it is hard for me to imagine life wihout her, I have known her for 50 years , and I am so glad my son has been able to know her for the past 15 years. She had such a sweet , kind , welcoming spirit, and such a warm smile, it was like she never knew a stranger.

We were always excited when we knew we were going to spend time with them. She has welcomed me into her home many times, and a special memory to me, is when they took me to Gatlinburg on vacation, and I kept saying I was going to puke all the way there, She always laughed when she told me that story, We also went to visit when my son was a baby to show him off to the family, and she got up early with me to feed him one morning, and held him and rocked in her special chair, and she told me to treasure each moment with him.I hope she is having a sweet reunion with my grandparents, and her parents and her brothers and sisters , Heaven seeem a little bit sweeter every day,, and I know that heaven has gained another angel this week. What a wonderful Lady! I have so many fond memoires of her and Oscar growing up. One of a kind. I have often thought of her since I moved away from Fort Wayne. Heaven is a little more sweeter, now that she is there.
