Rena Lasley, 90, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2011 at Parkview Memorial Hospital. Born in Knox County, KY, Rena was a homemaker. She was a member of Blackhawk Baptist Church. Surviving are her loving husband of 70 years, Oscar Lasley of Fort Wayne, children, Millie (Tom) Wong of Fresno, CA, Jim (Diane) Lasley of Fort Wayne, Joyce (Glen) Wade of Fort Wayne, Patty (Jim) Emley of Huntington, Mary (Steve) Coburn of Fort Wayne, Alta (Mark) McNeal of Fort Wayne, Bill (Marlene) Lasley of Pittsburg, CA, sister, Kathleen Hembree of Mt. Vernon, KY, brother, Claude Jordan of OH, 25 grandchildren, and 25 great grandchildren. Rena was preceded in death by parents, Elisha and Mary Jordan, sister, Pearlie Thompson, brothers, Victor, Pascal, Jackie, and Rufus Jordan. Service is 10:30 am, Monday, November 28, 2011 at Blackhawk Ministries, 7400 East State Blvd with calling one hour prior. Calling at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue Sunday, November 27, 2011 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
