Rhonda Ellen Blanks entered life at Trinitas (St. Elizabeth) Hospital in Elizabeth, New Jersey February 18, 1967 to her proud parents Raymond D. Blanks (predeceased) and Bernice Young Blanks. She was the youngest of eight children. The Angels escorted her Home on April 24th, 2011. Rhonda was educated in the Rahway Public School System. She also received her diploma from Drake's School of Business in 1991. She was employed by PCF INC. of NJ, where she was a valued employee. Rhonda had an outgoing personality and strong will. Less than best was not an option. Sharing was a gift she shared with family and friends. Rhonda was fashion conscious and would critique your outfit, requested or not. Rhonda celebrated and enjoyed life. She gave herself a blow-out 40th birthday party which was talked about long after it was over. Rhonda's amazing stories and jokes would lift your spirits. Rhonda was a fearless woman. She faced every challenge as a blessing. Even with her final challenge, she accepted Christ as her Savior. Her favorite scripture was Psalm 24. Rhonda leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Bernice Young Blanks, three sisters, RaeVon Blanks Brown of Savannah, GA, Robin Blanks of Rahway, NJ and Monica White of Elizabeth, NJ; six brothers, Raymond and Dale Blanks of Rahway, NJ, Herman Blanks (Jennifer) of Linden, NJ, Mitchell Blanks of Piscataway, NJ, Todd Blanks of Upper Marlboro, MD and Martin Payne Blanks of Elizabeth, NJ; her grandmother, Eleanor Coleman Young; six aunts, Mamie Young, Ernestine Joyner (Curtis), Sandra Jones, Pamela Young all of Rahway, NJ, Joanne Young of Medford, MA. and Gladys Blanks of Menlo Park, NJ; one great uncle Roland Randolph (Vivian) of Rahway, NJ. She was affectionately loved by five nieces, three great nieces, nine nephews, one great nephew, her devoted friend, Marlon Sewell of East Orange, NJ and her best friend Carolyn (Bo-Bo) Wise-Traynham, her godchildren, Cecelia and Lateef Wise and Tasheeka Gadson of Newark, NJ along with a host of relatives and friends.
