Rhonda Gayle Offerman, 51, of Lawrence, KS went to live with our Lord Jesus February 4, 2010 at her home. Rhonda was a friend to all that met her. She loved life, birds, music, her family and friends. Rhonda was a free spirit that lived life her way. Rhonda will be missed by many. Her laugh, smile and gentle nature will live in the hearts of all who knew her. Rhonda worked as an office specialist for the past 12 years. She resided with her partner in life, Kedin Jackson. Rhonda had two daughters that she spoke of daily, missed and loved dearly. Rhonda attended school in Berthoud and Loveland. Rhonda lived in Fort Collins until 1998. Rhonda is survived by daughters Rachel Atencio of Neenah, WI and Bridgett Offerman of Fort Collins; her mother, Fern Whitson of Fort Collins; three brothers, Steven Whitson of Caney, KS, Richard Whitson of Independence, KS, and Lance Whitson of Loveland; a sister, Katrina Evans of Fort Collins; one grandson, Breeze, of Neenah, WI; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Rhonda was preceded in death by her father, Richard; grandparents, John and Mollie Bernhardt; an aunt, uncles and one cousin. A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at Resthaven Funeral Home. Rhonda will be laid to rest following the ceremony in the Garden of Tranquility at Resthaven Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the Taylor Evans Fund in care of Resthaven Funeral Home, 8426 S. Hwy 287, Fort Collins, CO 80525.
