Rhonda Joann Pritts, age 59, of Little Rock passed from this life on September 28, 2011. She was born September 4, 1952, in Jackson County, Missouri to Jerome and Evelyn Seck. Rhonda grew up on a farm near Gardner, KS. She attended Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS where she met and married Terrell Pritts. A faithful servant of the Lord, Rhonda worked for the Catholic Diocese of Little Rock for 15 years in administrative support. Rhonda passionately defended the sanctity of human life in both her work for the Catholic Church and through many volunteer organizations. She is remembered for her beautiful smile, love for music and a relentless positive outlook on life.
Rhonda is survived by her devoted husband of 39 years, Terrell; daughter Amy Pritts; son Joshua Pritts; parents Jerome and Evelyn; father-in-law Elvin Pritts; sister Loretta (Jim) Baxa; sisters-in-law Marsha Seck and Janet (Earl) Holdt-Jamison; brother-in-law Wayne (Kathy) Pritts; nieces Christine Seck and Claire Pritts; nephews Tom Holdt, Andrew (Jamie) Holdt, Gilbert Seck, Jerome Seck and Jacob Pritts.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday October 3, 2011 at the Cathedral of St. Andrew in Little Rock; Father Matthew Garrison will be the Celebrant. Graveside Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 5th at Holy Rosary Cemetery, Wea, Kansas. There will be a vigil service on Sunday, October 2 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth, 5800 W. 12th, Little Rock, AR (501) 661-9111.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Diocese of Little Rock Catholic Charities, 2500 N. Tyler Street, Little Rock, AR 72207.
