Richard A. Forsberg, 78, died peacefully in his sleep late Friday October 29, 2010. He was born in East Cleveland on March 10, 1932 the son of Lars and Florence (Beachem) Forsberg. He was a 1950 graduate of Shaw High School and a veteran of the US Army, serving during the Korean Conflict. On Oct. 13, 1956 he married Patricia Setele, his wife of 54 years. He enjoyed fishing and boating and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Patricia; his son Jeffrey (Deborah); his daughters: Cynthia (Matthew) Fleischhauer, Linda (Douglas) Fuke and Laura (Todd) Price; his grandchildren: Jessica, Jeffrey Jr., Andrew, Allison, Michael, Ericka and Brian; and his brother Albert. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother William. The family will host a “get together” to celebrate his life on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the MONREAL FUNERAL HOME 35400 Curtis Blvd, Eastlake. In lieu of flowers the family asks the contributions be made to the American Heart Assoc. in his name, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
