STIBOLT, RICHARD ALBERT
Age 83, died in the early morning of November 15, 2011 of a heart attack. He was the much loved and generous husband of poet Karen McKinnon; father and step-father of Courtney Laird, Richard F.D. Stibolt, Catherine Kingston, Ian McKinnon, Barbara McKinnon, Courtney Griffith, Tracey Smith; grandfather of Courtney and Sarah Laird, Caroline, George and Richard Kingston; and William and Ashley McKinnon. A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on December 17, 2011 at Hillside Community Church on the corner of Jefferson and Zuni SE, behind Highland High School. The service will include one of Karen's poems and anecdotes about Richard from his children. He will be sorely missed. Flowers are welcome.
