GREEN, RICHARD ALLEN
Richard Allen Green went peacefully on Thursday, October 18th, 2012 to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was surrounded by his family that loved him immensely, because he was a man characterized by love. In his last words to his family, ending his life long path here on earth as a role model for those around him were simply this: "Nothing is more important than God."

Richard A. Green was born in Dallas, Texas on April 14, 1944 to James and Janie Lois Green. He is survived by his faithful wife of 49 years, Mary Green. He has two children, daughter Cherie' Morgan, and son, Richard Allen Green II. His only granddaughter, Jade Morgan, was his pride and joy. His mother, Janie Lois Green and brothers, Jim and Harry Green were beloved by him.

Richard was a dedicated member of Eastridge Church of Christ in Rockwall, Texas. He was retired, but previously the owner of Universal Supply Company in Palestine, Texas. His treasured hobby was hunting and simply being outdoors, enjoying God's creations.

Funeral Services will be held at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas on Monday, October 22, 2012 at 10:00am in the Wildwood Chapel. Please join his family as they celebrate Richard's life during Visiting Hours on Sunday, October 21, 2012 from 2:00-5:00pm at Restland Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 4100 Alpha Rd, Dallas, Texas 75244.
