In New Haven, March 26, 2010, Richard C. Montanaro of Summit St., New Haven. Husband of Lenore Pantaleo Montanaro of New Haven. Father of Nina Longway and her husband Ron of Branford, and Rick Montanaro of New Haven. Son of Alice Montanaro of West Haven. Brother of Arleen Hatton of Tampa, Fla. Grandfather of Charles, Lilliana, and Lenora. He was predeceased by his father Carl Montanaro. Richard was born in New Haven on May 27, 1942. He served in the U.S. Army and worked for Amtrak for more than 30 years. He loved his family, spending time with his grandchildren, and going to the gym. Funeral from the W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 504 Main St. Branford Monday at 12:00 with services at 12:30 at the First Congregational Church of Branford. Burial will be in Branford Center Cemetery. Friends may call Monday morning from 11:00 to 12:00 at the Funeral Home.
