RICHARD G. WALTERS ã A memorial service for Richard G. Walters, of Camas, will be held on Saturday, April 16, at 1 p.m., at Crossroads Community Church, 7708 N.E. 78th St., in Vancouver. He died March 30, at the age of 63. Richard was born in Fulton, NY, in 1947 and was a resident of Camas for over 32 years. After 40 years, Richard retired in 2005 as a network operations analyst for the United States Postal Service. He also served in the Vietnam War. He enjoyed traveling, woodworking, and spending time with his family, especially his three grandchildren. Richard is survived by his wife, Shirley; son, Jason Walters; daughter, Sandra Walters; sister, Bobbi Pennington; and three grandchildren. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Doernbecher Children's Hospital Foundation in Portland.
