Richard J. Romary , 75, peacefully passed away Sunday, March 6, 2011, surrounded by his family. He was the son of Richard A. and Ivona (Baker) Romary. A lifelong resident of Fort Wayne, he attended St. Patrick Grade School and graduated from Central Catholic High School. He was a United States Navy veteran and retired from Lincoln National Life Insurance Co. in 1992 after 32 years service. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus, council 451. He is survived by his brothers Edward (Regina) and John (Diane), 9 nieces and nephews and aunt Kathryn Raines. Mass of Christian Burial is 10 am Friday at St. Peter Catholic Church 518 E. Dewald St., with calling 1 hour prior to Mass. Calling also 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm Thursday at D.O. McComb and Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Ave. with a Rosary at 7:30 pm. Burial in Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Masses or St. Peter Catholic Church.
