CLINTON- Richard "Rick" Lewman, Jr., 63, of Clinton, Indiana died at 5:23 pm Wednesday, June 16, 2010 in the emergency room of Union Hospital at Clinton. He was a retired recreational therapist for the State of Ohio. He was born October 23, 1946 in Clinton, Indiana to the late Richard J. Lewman, Sr. and Dorothy B. Lee Lewman. Survivors include his daughter, Judith Dana Lewman Trent and her fiancée Fred Edward Eaker of Chapel Hill, North Carolina; two brothers, Jon B. (Phyllis) Lewman of Dana, Indiana and Mark L. Lewman of Cloverdale, Indiana; two nieces, Britainy (Kevin) Sholl and Erin Lewman; great-nephew, Grant Sholl; great-niece, Claire Sholl; former wife, Judith Wade Trent of Chapel Hill, North Carolina; many friends who affectionately call him "King". He was a 1964 graduate of Clinton High School and graduated from Indiana State University with both a bachelor and master degrees. He served with the United States Marine Reserves and was a charter member of the Dana Community Bible Church. Services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, June 19, in the Dana Community Bible Church with Pastor Marvin Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Bono Cemetery, Dana. Visitation is from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm on Saturday at the Dana Community Bible Church. Memorials should friends so desire, may be made to the Vermillion County 4-H Council, PO Box 250, Newport, Indiana 47966 in his memory. Care and arrangements entrusted to Overpeck-Gooch Funeral Home of Dana.
