MILLERSBURG- Richard M. Fralick, age 86, of 910 Lenker Drive passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at the Manor @ Susquehanna Village. He was born in Millersburg, PA, the son of the late Gordon and Evelyn Mills Fralick. He graduated from Millersburg High School class of 1942 and Shippensburg University class of 1950. He was a US Army veteran of WWII and purple heart recipient serving with the 78th division of company B 310th Regiment. Richard retired from the Millersburg Area School District in 1988 after 38 years as a teacher, guidance counselor and three sport coach. His memberships included St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Susquehanna Lodge #364 F&AM, Millersburg Tall Cedars #125, American Legion #326, VFW Post #5507, Millersburg Rotary Club and recipient of Paul Harris Award, member and past president of Millersburg Ferryboat Assoc. Surviving are his wife Shirley Bordner Fralick, son David Fralick and his wife Deborah, daughter Nancy Hand and husband Kurt, daughter Laura Wilkinson and husband Tom, son Ted Fralick all of Millersburg, 10 Grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 26 from 9-11 am at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Millersburg. Memorial Services with military honors will begin at 11:00 am in the church with Rev. Mark Hoffman officiating. Memorial donation may be made to the Millersburg Ferryboat Assoc.
