Richard D. Pridemore, 63, lifetime Metamora area resident, died Sunday, April 14, 2013. Richie was born August 10, 1949 in Almont to parents Alfred "Pete" and Evelyn (Busch) Pridemore. Mr. Pridemore was proud to have served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a hard working truck driver, primarily in the pavement business. For fun, Richie's main interests were fishing and hunting. Mr. Pridemore is survived by his dear friends: Dennis and Diane Ribble of Metamora, son: Phillip Pridemore of Oakland County, siblings: Roger Pridemore of Lapeer, Sandra Pridemore of Imlay City and Ruth Lassen of Romeo. He was preceded in death by his parents: Pete and Evelyn Pridemore, siblings: Shirley Roberts and Alfred Pridemore. Visitation will be 4-8pm Monday. A funeral service 11:00am Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer, officiated by Rev. Todd Smith. Burial will be in Metamora Cemetery, Metamora. www.MuirBrothersLapeer.com
