Mr. Richard Calvin Brannon, “Ricky”, age 59, of Barnesville, GA passed away November 9, 2009. Mr. Brannon was born in Fulton County the son of the late Alma Lois Spivey and Calvin J. Brannon. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Deborah Wood. Ricky worked in the office in the trucking industry, he was a member of the teamsters’ local #728, and he served his country in the US Army in Germany. He enjoyed his family and being grandpa and P-Paw to his grandchildren and was loved by all children. He enjoyed fishing, the computer, restoring old pictures and gambling. Survivors are his wife, Mary Lynn Brannon of Barnesville; children, Dawn and Tim Keck of Jenkinsburg and Richard and Deeann Brannon of Griffin; grandchildren, Dylan, Tyler, Tristen, and Shelbi; sisters, Kathy Brannon and Sandra Jean Brannon of Jonesboro; brothers, Danny Brannon of Jackson and Randy Brannon of Jonesboro; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service for Ricky will be Wednesday, November 11, 2009 – 2:00 PM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Rev. David Spivey officiating. Interment will follow at Haisten/Eastlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5 – 8:00 PM. Haisten Funeral Home – McDonough 770-914-8833
