Richard Risner, age 54, a resident of Helton Branch in Salyersville, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2012 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Mr. Risner was born November 4, 1958 in Salyersville, Kentucky the son of the late Elwood and Lucille Alsept Risner. Also, proceeding in death is one brother, Ralph Risner.
Mr. Risner was self-employed as a brick mason until his retirement.
Those left to mourn includes a son, Dewayne Risner of Salyersville, Kentucky, sisters, Sharon Helton of Salyersville, Kentucky, Donna Patrick of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, Ella Jo Shoatt of Cadiz, Kentucky, Glenna Risner of Hazel Green, Kentucky, brothers, Ronald Risner of Salyersville, Kentucky, Roy Risner of Campton, Kentucky, Randell Risner of Cincinnati, Ohio, Joe Dean Roark of Salyersville, Kentucky. Also, surviving are three grandchildren and a host of family and friends who love and miss him.
Funeral services for Richard Risner will be conducted Monday, November 12, 2012 at 11:00 AM from the Cow Creek Church of God on Cow Creek in Salyersville, Kentucky. Comforting words will be given by clergy Arbadella Reed. Burial will follow in the Kash Alsept Cemetery on Cow Creek in Salyersville, Kentucky. The family will welcome friends Sunday, November 11, 2012 after 3:00 PM from the Cow Creek Church of God in Salyersville, Kentucky. Contributions can be made to the Richard Risner Memorial Fund here at the funeral home.
