PATE, Mr. Richard S. Pate, A native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL, died in a local hospital on Monday, August 15, 2011. Mr. Pate retired from ADDSCO with 40 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Betty Jones Pate; 4 children, Patty(Lloyd)Smith, Pam(Jimmy)Smith, Richard S. Pate, Jr. and Paula(Rob)Christiansen; 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and other relatives. Funeral services will be held from the Chapel of Pine Crest on Thursday August 18, 2011 at 4 PM, with visitation starting at 2 PM. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
