Ruby and family, I am truly saddened by Richard's passing. He was a wonderful man and I was blessed by his friendship. Richard would always be there when there was work to be done at church and was a faithful servant to everyone. He will be missed in so many ways, but mostly for his smile and his laughter. Ruby, and children, I am so sorry to hear of Richard's passing...Although we had not seen each other is a few years, we continued to e-mail ...I will always remember the many years we worked together at Western Electric...Richard was always a pleasure to be with, always had a smile on his face and a great attitude about life....He will be missed by all.

I would like to express my condolence to your family for the loss of your loved one. I worked with Richard in Huntsville when I hired on with Western Electric. He was always a happy go lucky friend that kept you smiling. Then when my family was transfered to Birmingham with AT&T Richard and Jerry Payne were living here not far from me. His memory will always be with me for the good he did and his smile. Truely, he was a good friend. His funny e-mails will be missed, but most of all he will be missed. .

Dear Ruby, I am so sorry to hear about Richard's passing. He was a special man and very dear to me. Watching him grow in his faith was such a joy. I will always remember his smile and laugh.
