Richard Thomas Free, Jr., 73, of Hot Springs passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2011. Born June 8, 1938 in Alf, Arkansas to the late Richard Thomas Free, Sr. and Margaret Hazel Beck Free, he was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church and a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was predeceased by his wife, Peggy Free.

Survivors include a daughter, Lisa Hurst and son, Richard Allen Free, both of Hot Springs; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Barbara Daniel of Hot Springs, Shirley and Gerald Tarvin of Flower Mound, Texas and Jayne and Ronnie Richardson of Hackett, Arkansas; three brothers, Johnny Free of Star, Texas, Wayne Free of Sherwood, Arkansas and Joe Free of Bryant, Arkansas; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Morning Star Baptist Church.
