RICHARD THOMAS LAGODNY, 89, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2011. Beloved husband of Shirley (nee Langford, deceased). Beloved brother of Raymond (deceased), Russell, and Elaine BarRay. Beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews. WW2 veteran.
Born in Chicago IL, he moved to Cleveland to marry his pen pal, Shirley. He worked most of his life as a lithographic platemaker. He was a part time clown named Peggo, and with his friend, Tom (aka Clowno), they were The Magic Clowns. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor. Nieces and nephews and neighborhood kids of all ages remember his famous "Let me change your fingers", typewriter, and "Whatsa matter? Don'tcha know how to sit?" He always had a corny joke or bad pun ready. He made us smile…a lot.
