Mr. Richard Thomas Rusnak

Richard Thomas Rusnak, age 82, of Parma, Ohio, beloved husband of 55 years of Marian Rusnak (nee Nichol); loving father of Stephanie Rusnak and the late Richard Keith Rusnak; dear grandfather of Neal, Nicholas, Kaitlyn, Kendra and Claire Rusnak; dear brother of Rita Godfray, and the late Elizabeth Becker, Olga Block, Bernard, Joseph and Leonard Rusnak and Theresa Schmidt; son of the late Martin and Stefania (nee Brezovsky) Rusnak; uncle and friend of many. Mr. Rusnak was a 1947 graduate of Benedictine High School in Cleveland and served as an Military Policeman in Germany in the United States Army from 1950 to 1952. For over 50 years he worked as a plumber with the Local 55 Journeyman Plumber's Union in Cleveland. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post #1974 in Parma, the Elks Lodge #1938 in Parma, and the American Legion Post #2012 in Parma. He passed away Thursday, December 15, 2011. Although flowers are appreciated, the family suggests memorial contributions be forwarded to the American Lung Association, 6100 Rockside Woods Blvd. Suite #260, Independence, Ohio 44131. Prayer service at the funeral home on Monday, December 19, 2011 at 8:45 A.M. followed by Mass of Resurrection at 9:30 A.M. at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 6750 State Road, Parma. Interment with military honors will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Brook Park. The family will receive friends at the BUSCH FUNERAL HOME, 7501 Ridge Road, Parma, from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Sunday, December 18, 2011.
