Rikki A. Wager, 43, passed away at home Wednesday, April 25, 2012, surrounded by her family. Rikki was born May 6, 1968, in Rockford, daughter to Susan (Grindle) Antczak and Loren Wager. She attended the University of Wisconsin in Madison and had worked at Giovanni's, DHL and Northern Illinois Hospice Association.
She loved being with Joe, family and friends and raising her children.
Survived by soul mate, Joe Adamson; parents, Sue (Jerry) Antczak; father, Loren Wager; sisters, Renee (Mark) VanAnrooy, Rylee (Ryan Peters) Antczak, Lisa Antczak; brother, Jerry Antczak; grandparents, Bob and Vi Grindle; host of nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to Dr. Gandhi and his staff as well as the staff of Hospice Care of America and DORS.
Predeceased by her children, KC and Roxanne Slamp.
Memorial Service will be at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at the Chapel of Cremation Society of Illinois, 6825 Weaver Road, Rockford, with visitation from 12:30 p.m. until time of service. Pastor Ken Schmoyer will officiate. Memorials may be made to the family. Cremation Society of Illinois assisted the family.
