Mrs. Rita Edma Freycinet, age 85, of McDonough, GA passed away October 2, 2011. Mrs. Freycinet was a certified Nursing Assistant most of her working career. She was a preacher who enjoyed working in her church, singing in the choir, teaching Sunday School, teaching baptismal classes, and working with missions. Mrs. Freycinet was preceded in death by her mother, Elenora Edma; husband, Joseph Yves Freycinet; son, Irving John Freycinet; and a brother, Marcel Abelard. She is the loving mother to Josette Porsenna (Joseph) of McDonough and Clifford Freycinet (Ivonna) of Jacksonville, FL; grandmother to Alexander Porsenna, Kristal Porsenna, Joseph Porsenna, Dakota Freycinet and Elijah Freycinet. She also has nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service for Mrs. Freycinet will be Sunday, October 9, 2011 – 4:00 PM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Rev. Alvie Rodgers officiating.
