Robbie K. Roper, 80, of McRae, Arkansas, joined her husband and son in Heaven on June 18, 2012. Robbie was married to the love of her life from July 16, 1951 until his death April 4, 1995. Robbie was a member of McRae First Baptist Church where she served cookies and kool-aid to VBS students for over forty years. She had several activities that she enjoyed which included watching golf and playing dominoes. Robbie loved listening to Vince Gill.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Warner A. "E.J." Roper; son, Ronnie Roper; and three brothers, Harold, John and Bob Jones. She is survived by one son, Rickey Roper; daughter, Debbie and her husband, Harold Ulsperger; daughter-in-law, Glenda Roper; grandson, Stephen Nance; sister, Lovie Brown; two special great-nieces, Yvonne Peterson and Tresa Phillips; and several other nieces, nephews and friends.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Lebanon Cemetery. Memorials may be made to McRae First Baptist Church, 703 E. 2nd, McRae, AR 72102.
