Robert A. Larson, 83, Tower City, ND, died on Wed., Nov. 16, 2011 in Mercy Hospital, Valley City, ND.
Mr. Larson was born on Aug. 22, 1928 in rural Buffalo, ND to Albert and Ella (Kringler) Larson. He grew up in rural Buffalo and attended rural school near Buffalo. Robert married Mary Coyne on Feb. 14, 1952 in Dilworth, MN. Robert was a lifelong farmer, farming land near Buffalo, until his retirement in the early 80's. He moved to Tower City, ND in the early 1990's.
Bob loved to fish and still enjoyed to take rides to look at the crops in the fields and was especially known for his very quick wit.
He is survived by his sons, Trent (Renee), Buffalo, ND, Todd, Tower City, ND; daughters, Toni (Albert) Larson, Strasburg, ND, Tracy (Rick) Larson, Tower City, ND; grandchildren, John (Darae) Stringer, Lora (John) Stringer-Keller, Michelle (Ryan) Brendmoen, Kayla (Fred) Turner, Adam Houn, Jessica (Mark) Hill, Charles (Amanda) Stowman, Jayme Bucklin and Robert Larson; great grandchildren, Kali Anderson, Krysten Stringer, Jonathan Keller, William Keller, Josephine Keller, Deven Anderson, Madeleine Hill, Sam Hill, Reid Hill, Oliveah Stowman, Allegra Stowman and Cashton Stowman; sister, Elaine Ronning, Buffalo, ND.
A special "Thank You" to Scott and Tammy McKenzie and parish nurse, Gwen Fraase.
Visitation: One hour before the service in the church.
Memorial Service: Sat., Nov. 19, 2011 at 11 a.m. in the Buffalo Lutheran Church, Buffalo, ND
Burial: Buffalo Cemetery, Buffalo, ND.
