Robert Adamson Inman
COLUMBIA A funeral service for LTC Robert Adamson Inman, USAF (Ret.), 90, will be held on Monday, January 30, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church with interment with full military honors to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 28, 2012 from 5-7 pm at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel.
LTC Inman, husband of the late Alice J. Inman, died January 26, 2012. Born September 19, 1921 in San Antonio, TX, he was a son of the late Joseph Marvin Adamson and Lela Beard Adamson. LTC Inman retired from the United States Air Force after a 25 year career. A long time member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, he enjoyed golf and playing cards. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family. Surviving are his daughter Cheryl Inman Christian of Fairfax, VA; son, Richard A. Inman and his wife Neal of Columbia; grandchildren, Robert Michael Inman, Jr. of Bremerton, WA, Stephanee Inman Seay and her husband Chris of Columbia, Rev. Richard Conrad Davis Inman of Laurens, Robert Inman Hodges of Charleston, Julia Allyson Hodges of Richmond, VA; great-grandchildren, Ansley Seay, Greer Seay, Harrison Seay and Samuel Seay. He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Michael Inman, Sr. and a daughter, Nancy Lee Inman.
