On 5 April, 2011, Robert Allen Lee passed at his home in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 47. Robert was born at James Connelly Air Force Base, Waco Texas on October 17, 1963. Robert leaves behind a loving father and mother, retired USAF Senior Master Sergeant Ralph G. Lee, and his wife, Enedelia "Ann" Lee of San Antonio, Texas, loving brothers, Gordon, Mark, and Bill, and his son, Brandon, age 18. Robert attended Southwest Texas State after graduating from Highland High School in 1981. Robert joined the US Army in 1981, serving as a combat medic, assigned to units at Ft. Hood, Ft. Bliss, and Germany while on active duty. During Desert Storm in 1991, Robert directly participated in the liberation of Kuwait and Kuwait City. Immediately after participating in the liberation of Kuwait and Kuwait City with the 2nd Armor Division's Tiger Brigade, which was assigned to the 2nd Marine Division, Robert was reassigned to assist with the care of Kuwaiti civilians and Iraqi casualties at a nearby Kuwait hospital. Robert and the other medics provided excellent care to the people of Kuwait and Iraq casualties despite difficult working conditions, shortages of the basic necessities and critical medical equipment and supplies caused by the former Iraqi occupation of Kuwait. Robert rose to the rank of Sergeant and earned multiple decorations, which included the Army Commendation Medal, while in the US Army. After his Honorable discharge from the US Army in 1992, Robert continued to work in the health care profession. Robert worked in home health and eventually became a partner in a home health company � Apex. Robert was married once, to Michele Manuel, and their union resulted in his only child, Brandon Keith Lee. Robert was a loving and devoted father. Robert was blessed with many friends throughout his life time, including Joyce Redmond Rapozo, whom he knew since childhood, Ernie Kreth, James Meinke, and Tim Gray. Robert loved life and lived it to the fullest and loved traveling. He visited many countries including Mexico, Japan, Germany, Ireland, Canada, and the Caribbean. Robert also loved Oriental and German culture, and had a fondness for restoring old Mercedes Benz cars. Robert maintained an extensive music collection. Robert is preceded in death by his grandparents, Hilario and Andrea Sifuentes of Matehuala, San Luis Potosi, Mexico, and Gordon Lee of Bainbridge, Georgia and Dorothy Lee of Hyde Park, New York, and his uncles, Polo Jimenez, Hilario Sifuentes, Jr., Luis Sifuentes, and Ronald Lee. Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Ralph and Ann Lee, his brothers, Gordon, and his wife Barbara, of Mexia, Texas and their sons, Joey and (Lil) Mark, (Big) Mark, and his wife, Dorothy, of Pflugerville, Texas and their children, Curtis Michael and his wife, Liz, Stephanie, Sheenagh, and Cameron, and William (Bill) and his wife, Karen Toucheck, of San Antonio, Texas. Robert is also survived by his son, Brandon and his grandnieces, Emberlynn and Lola Lee, his, grandnephew, Ian Lee Barnes. Visitation will begin on Sunday, April 17, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South. The mass of resurrection will be celebrated on Monday, April 18, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. at Holy Name Catholic Church (3814 Nash Blvd.) with a procession from the funeral home. Interment will follow at Ft.
