Robert "Bobby" Anderson, Jr., 57, of the 2400 block Payne Rd., Chesapeake, VA, passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2010, in his home. Born in Portsmouth, VA, Bobby was a route supervisor for Merita Bread. He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Maria Anderson; father, Robert D. Anderson, Sr. of Portsmouth, VA; mother, Geraldine Pittman of Swan Quarter, NC; two sons, Jason L. Anderson and wife Whitney of Chesapeake, VA and Jeremy W. Anderson of Washington, DC; two sisters, Teresa Fields of California and Annette Eppard and husband Stephen of New Mexico; two brothers, Rob Anderson and wife Crystal of Chesapeake, VA and John W. Anderson and wife Kim of Suffolk, VA; two grandsons, Shea and Joshua Anderson of Chesapeake, VA. He was predeceased by his brother, Richard "Big Rick" Anderson. The family is eternally grateful to all friends for their support, love and prayers. A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Thursday at Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Highway Chapel with Pastor Kenny Bass officiating. Entombment will follow in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
