Robert passed away peacefully on Monday, September 5 with his family at his side. He is survived by his loving wife Susan and his 4 devoted children, Robert V. Scanavino, Tom Spitaleri (wife Kerri), Denise Fowler (husband Jim) and Joanna Scanavino. Also by his 5 grandchildren, Shawn Scanavino, Elizabeth, Tiffany, and James Lee Fowler and Kaylan Keith. Also, along with 3 great-grandchildren, he was also blessed with 17 nieces and nephews. Robert, a retired sheet metal worker, enjoyed helping anyone who asked. He also loved RVing, fishing, golf, fantasy football, dominos and cards with his friends.
Family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on September 9, 2011 at 9:30 am at St. Bernadette's Catholic Church 2455 Plymouth Road Stockton, CA. A rosary service will be on September 8, 2011 at 7:00 pm at DeYoung Memorial Chapel 601 N. California Street Stockton, CA.
Visitation will be on September 8, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
