Robert "Bobby" Brunk, 66, died 12:04 a.m., Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at his daughter's residence. He was born December 28, 1946 in Lima to Robert V. and Dorothea Brakes Brunk who preceded him in death. He was formerly married to Lisa Keith who survives in Lima and Barb Brunk who survives in Lima. Bobby was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Viet Nam War. He had worked as a bartender at the Delite Cafe for 30 years. He had also worked at Overhead Door Company for many years. Bobby was a member of the Moose Lodge # 199 and VFW Post # 1275. He was an avid football and Nascar fan. He enjoyed traveling to Gatlingburg, Tenn. Bobby enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by a daughter, Andrea (Travis Binkley) Brunk of Lima; a step daughter, Logan Godfrey of Lima; 5 grandchildren, Devin, Brayden, Haylee, Brenna, and Ke'Andre; 3 brothers, Kim (Laura) Brunk, Randy Brunk, and Terry Brunk all of Lima; 2 sisters, Sheri (Terry) Shaeffer and Renee (Tim) Knotts both of Lima; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, James T. (Judith) Brunk; and a sister, Pam Dawson. A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 12, 2013 at the Delite Cafe. There will be no public visitation. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family.
