Robert C. White, Sr., age 88, of 709 Mansfield Street, Plymouth, Indiana, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2011, at 12:32 p.m. at his home. He was born on December 25, 1922, in Plymouth, to Roscoe R. and Florence (Copp) White. On March 6, 1947, Robert and Etta I. Williams were married. Etta passed away on February 11, 1995. Robert worked as an auto mechanic until his retirement. He belonged to S.A.L. (Sons of the American Legion) and to the Plymouth V.F.W. Auxiliary. Robert is survived by his daughter, Suzanne Hardell of Knox , Indiana; his sons, Robert (Sue) White of Brooksville, Florida, Ronald (Myra) White of Plymouth, Vernon White of Springhill, Florida, Jack White of Plymouth, Dale (Patti) White of Plymouth, Roscoe (Denise) White of Plymouth, Andrew White of Plymouth, and Brian White of Plymouth; 27 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; his sister, Florence Heiman of Elkhart, Indiana; and his brother, Donald White of Elkhart.
