Bob attended Wakefield high School and graduated in 1976. After high school he was trained as an auto mechanic and plied his trade for several years in the Wakefield area. He left Wakefield and headed to California where he has resided for the past 30 years. He made his way as a mechanic but his greatest love was his family. His partner in life,Margarita Madrigal, and his children (Kris, 20 and Rosa Julietta, 24) and grandchildren (Adrian, 6 and Emily, 3). Bob always held his family and friends close and was loved by many. He spent his spare time enjoying his grandchildren and all that they were involved in. His devotion to his beloved Boston sports teams never waned, and could often be found at a Bruins or Red Sox games whenever they were in LA. He was a fierce defender of the Celtics in a sea of Lakers fans.
He passed suddenly of a heart attack while working. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the American Heart Association in his name.
