Mr. Robert E. LeBlanc, 74 years of Lynn , died on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 in Salem Hospital after a brief illness. He was born in Lynn, the son of the late Joseph W. and Cecelia M. (Casavant) LeBlanc. He was raised in Lynn, was home schooled in Lynn and lived in Lynn all of his life. Although he was born with spina bifida, Robert never let his disability get in the way of leading a very productive life. He worked for many years at Morgan Memorial. At the age of 41 he was chosen Goodwill worker of the years. He was also a member of the former Lynn Indoor Sports Club and once became President of the organization. He loved New England sports, the Celtics, Patriots, Red Sox , and attended some games. He was a communicant of the former St. Jean Baptiste Church in Lynn. Mr. LeBlanc leaves a sister Patricia MacDonald and her husband P.J. of Lynn, two brothers, Donald LeBlanc of West Hollywood, California, and William Leblanc and his wife Pat of Lynn. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. He is the brother of the late Joseph and Maurice LeBlanc and Uncle of the late Robin Clohecy. Mr. LeBlanc's funeral will be held on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 from the SOLIMINE, LANDERGAN AND RICHARDSON FUNERAL HOME, 426 Broadway (Rte 129) Lynn followed by a funeral mass in St. Pius V Church, Lynn at 9:00 AM. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
