Mr. Robert Lloyd, 83, of Michigan City, Indiana, died Saturday March 19, 2011 at La Porte Hospital. He was born August 11, 1928 in La Porte, Indiana, the son of Waldon R. Lloyd and Mildred L. (Brown) Lloyd. Robert worked as a farmer. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army tank brigade during the Korean conflict. He is survived by his 2 loving sons - Chris Lloyd of Arkansas, Doug Lloyd of California; daughter - Mona Lloyd of California; 2 sisters - Marjorie Lloyd of LaPorte, and Barbara Liles of Florida. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Bonnie Jackson. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, Ind. There will be no services. Cremation will take place.
