Robert E. McDaniel, 85, passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2011, at his home. Robert was predeceased by his wife, Eunice McDaniel, and is survived by his children, Don McDaniel and wife Trudi of Chesapeake, VA, Roger McDaniel and wife Karen of Colerain, NC, Vanda White and husband Jimmy of Windsor, NC, and Maliea McDaniel and fiance Milton Braby of Windsor, NC; ten grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren; a brother; and two sisters. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Highway Chapel. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home, with burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
