Robert E. Wolford, 77 of Geneva, IN, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2012. Born in Ft. Wayne, Bob was an Army veteran and a Captain with the Ft. Wayne Fire Department. He was a member of West Missionary Church in Berne. He enjoyed playing pool at the Berne Senior Center and was an avid woodworker. He is survived by his wife, Janice Dausch Wolford; daughters, Janet Wolford of Ft. Wayne, Dawn (Geoff) Waldau of Lithia, FL and Victoria (Doug) Wolford Osborne of Noblesville, IN; step-daughter, Angie (Jeffrey) Miller of Ossian, IN; step-son, Michael Dausch of Bluffton, IN; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Bob was preceded in death by his first wife, Ina Wolford and brothers, Herbert and James Wolford. Service is 10 am Monday, January 30, 2012 at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave. with visitation starting one hour prior. Visitation also from 2 to 7 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
