Robert Eugene Wiggins was born on March 13, 1944 to the late Omega and Phyllis Wiggins of Rutherfordton, North Carolina. Robert and his family moved to Vauxhall, New Jersey where Robert was enrolled in the Union School System. Robert was a devoted son, loving brother and uncle. Many people loved him. Known to some as "Ahab", to me he'll always be "Rob". Robert lived for awhile in Springfield, New Jersey where he first was employed at Referrals Workshop on Hanover. After awhile he became employed at Schiable Oil Company in Springfield. Later being employed at his present job, Neslo Petroleum in Fords, New Jersey where he was employed until he departed this life. Rob loved to work. He loved his family. Robert was a member of the Montclair 1st Seventh Day Adventist Church in Montclair, New Jersey. In 1980, Robert and Betty were married in the church under the leadership of Pastor Reginald Robinson. Robert was a person loved and respected by many young folks and he was known to them as "Mr. Rob" or "Mr. Wiggins". Robert Eugene Wiggins departed this life on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy, New Jersey at the age of 66. He leaves to mourn his passing, his devoted wife of 30 years, Betty Christmas Wiggins; two daughters, Cindy Moss and her husband, Charles of Orange, NJ and Robin Wiggins of Union, NJ; a sister, Pamela Davis of Summit, NJ; a brother-in-law, Donald Davis; 8 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
