Robert "Bob" H. Stover, 80, son of Wayne and Fairy, died May 4, 2010 in Ft. Collins, CO. Bob was born November 7, 1929 in St. Petersburg, FL. On June 20, 1953 Bob married Evelyn Ilene Van Horn in Wheatridge. Bob and Evelyn were blessed with five daughters; Catherine Stover of Ft Collins, Linda Scott (Brad) of Littleton, Marcia Pastuszek (Kordian) of Pagosa Springs, Carol Clear (Craig) of Ft. Collins, and Sharon Pearson of Loveland; 12 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. Bob had a great appreciation for cars. Over the years he enjoyed fixing up his 32 Ford Hot Rod and driving it every chance he could. Bob was known as the "carburetor guy". He could tune a carburetor like no other! Most of Bob's working years were spent in and around cars. He worked at Rickenbaugh Cadillac in Denver, Van Horn Garage in Yuma, Nick Davidson Chevrolet in Loveland, McArthur Oldsmobile in Greeley, Antique Auto House in Loveland, Kodak in Windsor, and Hewlett Packard in Loveland. Bob's family and friends knew him as a gentle and kind man. Bob was a dedicated husband and a patient father. Family gatherings were the highlight of his life. Bob dealt with Alzheimer's the last couple years of his life. He will be forever loved and remembered as a friend to all.
