Mr. Robert I. Throop, Jr.

Mr. Robert I. Throop, Jr., A native of Chicago, Il. And a resident of the Mobile Area for the past 50 years, died on Wednesday September 28, 2011. He proudly served in the US Navy during WW II and was a graduate of the University of Louisville in Kentucky.
He is survived by 2 daughters, Paula (Karl)Brown, Spanish Fort, AL and Linda Andrews, Hoover, AL; 7 grandchildren and one great grandchild. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of the W. F. Green Veterans Home for their kindness and care.
Funeral services will be held Friday September 30, 2011 at 2 PM at Pine Crest Funeral Home, with visitation starting at 1 PM. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
